Stay at Home Mom Resources

When my husband and I decided I should leave my successful career to become a stay at home mom, resources I consulted conflicted in their opinions. There was a group of women who told me how bored I was going to be at home with a baby and that I would be back to work within a year. There was a different group of women who told me how magical the experience was going to be and that I would be in absolute heaven every day after I quit.

In my experience, neither of these groups was giving me an accurate picture of the stay at home mom experience. Transitioning from my successful career to being a stay at home mom was very hard for me - but it was also very satisfying. And the decision for me to stay at home was also our first step down the path toward homeschooling our boys.

This part of our website will be full of advice and anecdotes for new stay at home moms. It is almost imposssible to homeschool your boys if you aren't home with them during the day! And most women work outside of the home at some point in their lives... so my hope is that you will be able to glean something helpful and encouraging from my experience to help you through this tough transition.
